Good news: I was offered a "goodwill" leather replacement of the driver's seat. The left side bolster was wearing off pretty badly and my local dealer stepped up to the plate and took care of it. Now that I got it done, I realized that the passenger seat is in need of some really good reconditioning. The oyster interior, while gorgeous, is extremely unforgiving with respect to daily utility. I have the goods and when the weather warms up a tad more, I'll get busy!

Nicely styled wheels but they look ridiculous in that huge size and I am sure the car is for all practical purposes undriveable.

I would like to see them in 18"

OK, April 1st. Who's getting Goat Simulator?

Also, fess up if you're part of the development team, which is statistically very likely given this group.

I have a car interest dilemma, and who better to ask than other car enthusiast... Monday evenings two of my favorite shows are on BBC Top Gear the holy bible of all car television. At the same time is Fast N' Loud which is David to the Top Gear Goliath... Which one do you think is better to watch?

Sitting at the dealership waiting on an oil change, I finally had the chance to look a 4er over in the flesh. I've seen them on the street before but wasn't too excited. However, they have a beautiful M-sport 435i in blue sitting here and it's a looker. $62K sticker price though...ouch! Wasn't a base E9X M3 about that much?

You are looking at the sticker price, not the invoice price, and definitely not the ED invoice price.

I went and saw a c63 AMG (new, but two years old)...they want $82000!!! For a car where the base sticker is 63000

The official E9x OT thread!

I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while. Taken during a recent visit to the Collier Automotive Museum in Naples, FL, enjoy!

Attachment 457997
Attachment 457998
Attachment 458001

And these 2 are for DSX and his undying love for Trabants, which I has the dubious honors of growing up around...

I had some lovely cherry preserves this Sunday. On Graham crackers. It was tasty. My puppy was jealous and wanted some too.

Low Pro-tires

Regarding the ultra low-profile tires; I am not a fan. Those types of modifications really do not belong on BMWs, or in this forum. Not every car is meant to be SHOW, but every SHOW must still be able to DRIVE. Respect the road, respect the UDM!

Thanks for the nightmares.

(that was pretty gruesome - especially toward the end.)

ECS Tuning and BMA auto parts are my favorites, but I've ordered from PelicanParts .com and Bavarian Autosport with zero problems as well... Shop around for a deal, but they're all great places to deal with IMO.
