Slow Window motor

All the window's work on my 1990 325i 4 door. the back passengers is very slow requiring the push by hand to go back up after going down. Is it possable a switch replacement might work or does the motor need work

there are alot of little plastic clips that will be brittle. i suggest investing in the tool to lessen the chance of damaging the panel.

Also check that the window rubber has not got twisted in the frame somewhere. My E32's are prone to that.

my front passanger window motor is screaming at me. I was told the bushing become fused somewhere.

Anyone know of a rebuild step by step?

So are you saying you just bought a new switch for the console and replaced the old one? Since I'm in a 'vert, I have no switch for the rear windows BUT the one on the console, and my rear windows are on the slower side. Just wondering if that would make a difference for me.

try it Jessica just replacing the console switch did the trick! Just pry the switch up gently from the console I used my small pocket knife and fingernails. The connector is longer in the back than the front so when you get it coming out raise the front first and slide it forward the whole switch will come out. gently pull the wires to give you enough room to unclip the connector (also my small pocket knife hepled pry it loose) then simply do the reverse order. I have 5 or six window switches laying around so I made sure the switch worked before I pressed it back down. you will see how it clips back in. on a scale of 1 to 10 difficult it is about a 1-
