Question X3 28D vs. 335D Torque vs. baseline X328I performance

Hello All,

I am curious how the torque curve comparisons look like for the 335D vs X3-28D engines. I know that X3-28d is rated at 180 HP and the baseline X3-28i gasoline engine is rated at 240 HP. My concern of 180 HP being on the low side of 240 HP would affect the SAV driving / sportive feel and went with the MY 2014 X3-:angel28i.

On the other hand, I noticed 27/34 mpg for X3-28i fuel economy numbers are 21/28... how are the numbers for 335D engine.

Why is 335d engine diesel not made available (yet ?) in X3-35i variant....

Any thoughts ?

Text from Wiki article re X3.

In other world markets various combinations of engines are offered including 2.0 and 3.0-litre diesel engines with either the eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. All X3s are equipped with BMW's X-Drive all wheel drive system.

Sometimes we don't get the good stuff. I agree the N57 would be a hoot in this thing
