E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Need water pipe connector dont wanna order online

1991 318i e30

Whatsup guys, so one of the inlets that connects to a heater core hose on my water pipe connector snaped off and most of the coolant my motor was holding exited through the whole so im in need of a new water pipe connector. i found them on ebay for about $15 but i really don't want my order cause im hanging out with this girl this weekend and im definantley trying to be driving my dirty 30. does anyone know if i can get that part at an autozone or anything shops? and is that the correct name for the piece?

Pick n Pull. Lot of E30s in the boneyards in the Bay Area.

I'm guessing that won't be at the mainstream auto parts stores.

All New Parts in Berkeley could probably UPS you one that would get there by Friday:

heres what you do. order the part online. bypass the heater core for now, its a little bit of tight squeezing but that way you can still drive the car and go fondle your woman

Man up and buy a new one.
Most running problems on BMW are caused by the plastic cooling system components becoming brittle and cracking thru repeated heat cycles.
The economy of installing a used, brittle 100k + mile old replacement makes no sense.

You didn't, he might have been shooting my boneyard idea down and with this part he has a point. Some parts are perfect from boneyards, but if this is nylon or plastic of some sort as I suspect, new is best.
