More horses

I see the new 235 is listed at 320HP. I wonder if we can get some of that with a change in engine management. Exhaust might be different, but 20hp worth? Not likely (unless Dinan was making the claim)

Inquiring minds want to know

It is not the same engine (code). Since your turbo is controlled electronically, it is really easy to work with the boost coming out of it and into the cylinders. That and better materials equals more hp/torque. Simple.

Get a Burger tune. I think the Stg 1is good for 30-40 wheel hp and it simply plugs in. I had the JB4 on my 335 and currently have the Stg 1 on my X5 50i. Aesome product and can be removed in 10 mins if you need to take in into the dealers.

I read someplace that the X3 have a difference ECU then the 3 series and the JB4 doesn't work..

Burger tune is awesome, adds 50HP. Simple to install, no codes. Mine has been to the dealer 3 times since install and they haven't noticed it, so no need to remove prior to a dealer visit.

I've taken mine to dealer and they noted that after market wiring harness was installed but as long as it doesn't break anything all is well.
