Are you getting good deals on the 2015s

Just curious if you are getting any good discounts on 2015s?
I was not able to get more than $1k discount on the 2015 when wanting to order and the fact that I would not get the car till much later with delays.
The 2014s they made me a 10% off msrp so it seems like a super good deal but...I really like the lights on the 2015 (minor I know). I could not really tell a difference with the idrive improvements.
Should I expect 4 or 5% off msrp on a new 2015?

Mein Auto: Hoping for an X3
I just ordered a 2015 M sport at about $500 over invoice. I'll post the details later but find the right dealer and deals can be had.

It helps I live in an area where there are 5-6 BMW dealerships within 45 mins of my house.

Wow, I could not even come close and I haggled from invoice and they still said no. Kept pushing me to the 2014s if I am looking to be "budget conscious"

As I said I'm lucky given the number of dealers in the area.

But I'll also say this, I got my entire deal done via email and phone. I visited the dealer for the first time ever tonight and was out the door in an hour. So, even if you have to travel a bit, it might be worth it to save a few thousand dollars.

Do what I did. Detail the car you want on cars.com and it allows you to send the request to several local dealers. Blast it,out to 3-4 dealers you would be willing to do business with and let them come back to you. Start at invoice price and work your way up from there. The internet sales reps seem to be much more flexible on price than those in the showroom because they know they are up against other dealers. In the showroom, the sales people feel more, like they have you trapped.

I'm very happy right now but this was a long process. Have been working this for about 2 months now and have been to 4 different dealers in that time.

I'd suggest contacting your local auto brokers. I'm using one of the bigger ones in Denver and the price of my 2015 X3 will be invoice + $675 (auto brokers standard fee) + $500 (their cost from BMW). That add'l $500 is likely because it's more in demand and they can charge that small markup.

This is my first time going the auto broker route but it made sense with the harder to negotiate 2015's + positive experience from friends with this broker.

I really think it heavily depend on the area you are in for deals.

If there are not many BMW dealers around the area, and there are plenty wealthy people to buy them, you won't get deals in.

But as for me, I am in california bay area. There are 7 dealerships around me, most of them are willing to compete and do deals. I was able to get 250$ above invoice pretty easy

If you are in Portland Oregon, I would agree that Kuni is pretty proud. Try heading south or east to a couple of other dealers. If you're in Maine I have no clue.

I paid 500 over invoice on my 2015 x3 xdrive28i by configuring it on cars.com, and using the "send to 3 dealers for quote" option. Within a few hours a dealer about 45 min away got back to me with that deal. Prior to that, best I could get was 4% below msrp. Ordered march 28th, picked up almost exactly one month later. Sapphire black, cold weather, premium, xLine, safety package 1, xenon, Harmon, tech package. Love it. You can get good deals just need to be willing to hunt around.

My dealer won't go lower than $758 a month and no incentive. For those who lease, how much did you put down and months payment?

Help please! Is this a good deal at all?

S Drive Alpine White With Black Nevada Leather and Fineline Anthracite Trim
Includes X line, Premium Package, Drivers Assistance Package, Navigation, Heated front seats

MSRP: 47,625.00

I'm getting it for $1500 off MSRP, with $3,000 down, 10,000 miles, the monthly payment is $650 after taxes.

Is this good at all?

Seems like you are getting 3% off msrp. At first I was not able to even negotiate that but after contacting BMW dealers in the region via email (as suggested in earlier posts) I was able to get 5% off MSRP for a 2015 via ordering without that much difficulty.
On the 2014s I think you should be able to get closer to 10% off MSRP really easily.

Agree. With the $2,000 BMW incentive still out there 10% off sticker should definitely be in play. I had a dealer offer me almost 12% off on a 2014 before I opted for a 2015 instead.

Of course you're more likely to get deals like this if the car is on their lot rather than them having to get it from another dealer.

Thank you Hockey! How much did you put down and monthly markets if you don't mind me asking? This is my wish list car so I'm debating if I should try to get more or just get the car.

Less than $500 over invoice after dealer training and marketing fees were taken into account. About $750 over the invoice price of the car alone.

RaisinCane - I'm shopping 2014s now. Looking at one with an MSRP of $49k - dealer offered $42,675 which is:

$6,500 off MSRP
13-15% off MSRP

Dealer Invoice is $45,685

What is the best you think I can do in terms of price? Thanks!

If you are willing to drive 2 hours over to Kalamazoo, Michigan to pick up your X3, I know our local dealer will go $500 over invoice. PM me if you want a contact name.

Great deal. Thanks for the info. I'm in the market myself for a 2015 M-Sport X3 and I'm planning on taking your suggestion about cars.com and sending requests.

Quick question: How does one go about determining what a particular dealers Training and/or Marketing fees are ?

Thanks.

I probably would have gone this route if I had been willing to purchase without a test drive. But since the X328d wasn't available before to test drive, I finally test drove it this weekend. Thought enough of it to go ahead and order. 3 hour drive to get to the dealer, I was finally getting tired of dithering. There always seemed an excuse to dither for me

Ended up $1500 below MSRP, which is higher than some of the better deals others have received.
