524TD prices

What do you think the going prices for a 524td are? I found two really nice ones, one $5,700 with 150k and another with almost 230k miles and he's asking $7,500. Both are really nice cars, but i just done see them going over $3k.

Wow - if I knew that 10 years ago I would not have given mine away! Even with close to 300K highway miles on the odo it ran like a champ with perfect interior and straight, rust free body! Boy do I miss that car.

I find it cery expensive for such old diesel...
528i or 535i are way better to drive, more reliable, and maybe cheaper. Why don(t you get a 528i? It is for me the best version, because of its price. We can find some 528i very cool for 5000, so for 5000$ you should find very, very good looking, in good condition 528! If it's a weej end car, the consuption does not really matter, isn't?

If you're still interested, I have one I need to get rid of. I have too many cars and my BMW energy (and money) is going into an E32. What can I say.

It's an old thread, but anyway, how much do you want for it and what condition is it in, mileage, etc.?

I would like $1800. It is in decent shape given it has 330,000 on the odometer. A/C needs charging, cruise control quit working awhile ago and brake booster needs replacing. Recently a new starter, battery, water pump and in tank fuel pump. New paint about 5 years ago in decent condition.
