Car ('03 x5 3.0) makes some awful grinding, groaning noises when I make a right turn (or reverse left) and also when going over small bumps on paved streets and freeways. Sound is like a heavy metal barrel scraping along the mid to rear underbelly.
Any ideas or others with this same problem? I have an appointment with the service department for this next week, but based on my last experience with their service department I need to be armed with lots of info. And will driving it for the next 6 days before going to the shop do more damage? |
