Oil Clarification

Will a non 10-60W oil affect engine wear? Was thinking of running AMSOIL Signature Series 50w Race oil..any and all feedback would be appreciated, Thx.Frisco

I am in no way an oil expert but I have seen a lot of guys on M5board run 0w30. I myself am about due for an oil change and have been thinking about different oils to use

Why?
Stick with OEM, it's racing oil!
If you have money to spend use it on upgrade, not on repairs!

Hi, is it ok to add non OEM oil like Liqui Molly in between oil changes?
