X6 E71 / E72 (2008 - 2014)
The BMW X6 luxury crossover went on sale in April 2008 as a 2009 model year. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The E71 X6 was built off the E70 X5 (2007 - 2013) platform at BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Total worldwide sales were just over 235,000, sold mostly to the BRIC countries. US total sales was 34,082 vehicles.

In essence you need H8 type LED bulbs, they are so many of them on eBay or aftermarket BMW stores (too many to list).
You need a pair, one left and one right. each bulb iluminate both rings for that side.

I posted so many so you can search all my post on this subject.
The latest brightest (most expensive) is either DTEC-7 or LUX V4

I can't remember what thread or if it was this forum but there was a thread multiple pages that wound up listing about 6 different options and the price of each. Also most every option someone had posted a pic of how it look in their vehicle. I opted for one of the lower cost items being I did t know if I'll keep this set but they are still in the box and no time to install them this weeks with all the other stuff I have going on. Will try and get them in and pics taken and if this thread is still around ill post up a pic or 2.

I have purchased this 40W CREE H8 LED for mine. Worked pretty good at night, but daytime, it doesn't have the glow that i wanted for both Halo Rings. it's not hard to install, directions included when purchased. i will upgrade to a 8000 later on. but overall, much much better than that stock amber look.
