E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

What to look for on a 2008 135i?

So a few months ago I looked at an '11 135i for $20k and had 34k miles, bought the next day after I went to look at it lol.

So now I found a 2008 135i for $14k and 60k miles(auto). I'm looking to see what I should look out for when I go see it tomorrow evening. Any help would be appreciated.

I also looked on US car reviews and it had a 4 out of 5 rating in reliability, not bad compared to what they had for the 2009 with 2 out of 5 rating.

Thanks for any feedback!

No worries about turbos and fuel pump since they are both still under warranty for a while.
you want to make sure transmission and engine are good.
also accidents.

The '11 for $20K with 34K miles was a steal - maybe! However, I wouldn't buy any 135i earlier than a '12 or '13. The early years had numerous problems, and in typical BMW fashion, it took years to sort them out.

With the M235i out, the 128 & 135 vehicles on the market can be had for a substantial discount. I was wandering around my local dealer, and I saw several for reasonable money and certified! My BMW tech friend who is a service adviser at a local dealership tells me that there are very few issues with the '12 & '13 cars.
