Buying a 2001 BMW M3 - good deal?

I found an 01 M3 with 92,000 miles on it. One owner from day one and buying from a BMW dealer in the local area. Full records in perfect condition. All original no tuning done on car. They are asking $13,999 for it. I put a deposit on it to hold it for me I have 18hrs to decide. What should I do? This is going to be a weekend/fun car for me. I have a brand new X5 that is my daily driver. Maintenance costs I could expect? Also this car is a rare 6 speed manual silver with black interior. Car looks and drives like it is brand new!

an '01 sub 100k for 13k? That's a reasonably good deal, assuming there's nothing wrong with the car... which you'll only know if you do a PPI.

My 150k '01 vert was 10k.

Yeah I bought the car from a local BMW dealership. Went through a complete checkup. Everything is perfect on the car and everything works. Also got a 3yr 36k warranty through BMW with the car that covers all electronics and mechanical problems. So far so good.

It is a 6 speed manual. The car is in perfect condition. no cracks in the leather only had one owner from day one. The guy babied the car and it was his weekend car. I am happy so far.

Congratulation, what was the final price out the door and how much you paid for the warranty?

Wait a minute...how did this go from being a fair deal at $13.9k all the way up to $19k?!?!

I purchased my 01 LSB M3 w/ 40k miles for $12.5, I got a good deal. Your car at $13k would have been fair, but $19k is farrrr too much. Thats 05 money.

I bought a 3500 dollar warranty with the car that is good for 3yrs or 36k miles. It covers all electronics and mechanics. I also bought it from a dealer so I had to pay tittle, registration, sales tax, and I bought some accessories. That pushed it from 13.9 to 19 out the door.
