What 22" staggered rims should I get for my 7?

Hey friends!

I am looking to get a staggered set up for my 03 745li. I am wanting to get 22x9.5 in the front and 22x11 in the rear (will also consider 22x9 - 22x10.5). I am looking to stay in the $2000 range. I would love to see pictures and hear opinions on this subject to help lead me in the right direction!

Well first welcome to the forum. Let's try this a different way. Research some wheel styles that catches your eye and post them. We can't cover every brand of wheel or tire but I let you know from personal experience. I like Beyern, Vossen, & Niche. In my pictures, you will see I have the Beyern Multi in Silver. I love these wheels but hate to clean them. I love the Vossens CV1 style. Concave styles look the best.

So my staggered setup as follows:
Front 22x9.5
Rears 22x11

I wrapped them in Toyo Proxes 4
Front 265/30/22
Rear 295/25/22

stay away from Lexani tires they are one of the worse for road noise and handling. Problem with what I suggested is likely out of your price range of $2000. So look for what you like and post up the specs. I hope this helps.

Thank you for being so kind and giving me tire advise. What do you think of the lorenzos brand? I am considering the wl36. The can stagger them the way I want them and I really like the looks. Only downside is there isn't a dish that seems ever so popular.

We have a great selection of staggered 22" rims that will definitely fall into your price range

Send me a PM on special forum pricing. We can set you up with wheel and tire packages as well.

Lorenzo's are pretty good. As for the wl036, I like them just not feeling the chrome edges. Definitely looks better with a staggered setup, only downside is that you can't rotate the wheels.

22"s

I know this subject has been talked to death. just curious if 22's would be almost too much for the 7 series. I don't want to go over the top and look ridiculous. The 20 inch sport rims are good size but I like the chrome mesh. Whats your opinion?

It's a personal opinion, I do believe 22"s look the best, anything larger you're asking for trouble. 20"s looks good but depends on style of the wheel and if it's lowered.

When you say a lot, what do you mean? Cost wise, up keep or just too flashy?

It's just my personal preference. I think it's too flashy, bling.. Kinda takes away from the car. But if you like chrome, go with it.

Beyern Multi in Silver. The lip is chrome, that's the extent I'd go with it.

So I ordered the lorenzo wl36's with some help from the guys over at the rim shop. They came and looked awesome in the box. The downside is they went to put them on and the rears didn't fit because of the offset. I assumed they would have known if they would fit or not before the ordered but apparently not. My search continues for a different wheel. I agree with first_745 when he says chrome is a little much. I had chrome on my old car in my teens but now I'm 24 and want to go with something a little less "loud" if you may. I could live with a chrome if it had a lot of powder coated black in it I suppose. Back to the books on wheel suggestions.

Wow, that sorry to hear they didn't fit. Ya, you should know before you get them whether they fit a specific vehicle. I think I will just go with chrome lip, be perfect.

As a shop you would think they would know the correct fitment. Check wheelfire.com. They have reasonable priced Beyern styles. Where you located?
