How do you stop the A/C from turning on when the engine starts?

It sorta bugs me that the A/C ALWAYS turns on when I turn the engine on....
How do u stop that from happening?
Mine is an 03 3.0....Thanks guys!

i think its part of the programmed key feature. if u make sure that the a/c is off when you turn of the ignition the next time you start the ignition with the same key it will be off. the key remembers the last settings of your car.
