1997 automatic overheated

I bought this overheated m3 for 2500 with 140k i just removed the head and send it to the machine shop i hope the head is ok Click image for larger version

Well head was warped, im getting a gasket from cometic .030 oversized. Valve were losing 15% compression and valve stems are leaking, im getting back a head decked out valve job and new valve stem seals. Also vanos rebuild, Now how do i prevent the trans from going out i the next 60k and would arp head studs a good idea? I not plankng to race or rally,
