My Silverstone/Sakhir M4 coupe

Took delivery 7/19 (pre-ordered 4/13). Specs:

Silverstone/CF roof
Sakhir Orange full leather
6MT
LEDs
Silver 19s
Executive package
Adaptive suspension
Harmon Kardon
Side & top cameras

Mods so far: Painted reflectors, black kidneys, custom painted Sakhir engine cover (calipers to come).

Have enjoyed it greatly so far. No disappointments. Goes in for 1,200 service tomorrow.

Love your mod list, especially the SO matching engine cover, very cool! If you don't mind, might just have to do the same when mine comes? Enjoy your ride.

Sourced from IND: http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...d-engine-cover. I also polished the intercooler body a bit, but it needs more work.

Gorgeous car. I've got my eye on the M4 as a replacement for my E60 550i in a year or two. I think it may be time to get down to a dealership and do a test drive.

Gorgeous.

I have also been contemplating Silverstone (my favorite M color) with Sakhir instead of my usual very purposeful all black interior. Your car makes a strong case for Sakhir - the black/Sakhir interior contrasts is an exciting visual feast.

Congrats on a stunning M4!

Thanks

Thanks, all. Further mods considered:
- Sakhir Orange calipers (coming in the next month)
- Spacers - 12mm F&R with stock wheels
- May put my just refinished RAC RG63 wheels on, but will need to alter lug holes
- Suspension - I hate to mess with the stock springs, but it really needs a drop
- Exhaust - the sound is interesting and I don't think bad, but it may be improved
- Hardwire for my V1 (I rarely use it, but would be nice for trips)
- LIDAR jammer - this car is so fast, I may need this!
- Compact spare tire - all parts on their way
- Carpet mat for trunk - unfortunately, BMW does not offer one any more (did for E92)
- Tow hook license plate holder - hate to put it on, but it can be a hassle around here

Is it my imagination or does the Silverstone take on a green hue while under all those nice green trees? I had read this somewhere before but never seen it, like it seems to be captured in your photo. So the blue hue really does come from blue skies so it seems. Wow, very interesting cool color, as is in all the M specific choices.

I think you are correct that it does reflect the surroundings and become greener when in foliage.

Greg, did IND send you replacement reflector replacements? IIRC, they look a little different than body. SS is a hard color to match. It's as bas as Bluewater, ask me how I know.

Yes, they are very close, but maybe minutely off. Also, they protrude maybe 1/32" which make them stand out a little.
