550i xDrive upgraded sways

Not wanting to invest 10hrs in Dinan springs wondering if M5 front sway and 550d/650 rear sway will improve cornering and lane changes at highway speeds.

Who has done it, what parts did u use (oem or other), how long did it take? Did you need a 4-whl alignment after the fact?

Yes, i used search function but looking for more recent (summer) installs. Mine is a 2013, btw.

Thx.

Long holiday weekend = slow (internet) traffic.

I had these installed about 2 months ago by my local BMW dealership:
http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2702862/

It took a few hours for them to do the install work.
I did not need any wheel alignment.
Yes, they improved cornering and lane changes at highway speeds.

To use your vernacular, I would say this is a "lame" way of admitting laziness. There are a lot of threads on it, including a very comprehensive one. How exactly would a "recent" install be any different than others for the same chassis???

Read up and decide if it's for you. Admittedly, I don't understand why you're considering sways as an alternative to springs; the two do very different things with minimal overlap.

Sometimes the truth hurts, 535. My comparison is based on other enthusiast auto forums. BTW, thanks for your expertise on the posted subject.

Well, Einstein, there are new products introduced to the market, new installation experiences, ...

Sways do more than you are crediting them for in corners or evasive maneuvers; hence, the question. But again, thanks for your assertion of laziness, dumb***

You personify that stereotype well, Manny. I'm sure your other 98 posts are as productive for this forum as these.

Sorry to break it to you but the way you are coming off ss pretty douchey. You seem to be a bit of a tool.

But hey! life is about change and moving forward, maybe next time you can be the better person.

As for your question, it's a pretty significant upgrade. The boat feeling will almost be eliminated, the addition of springs will be even better.
