I've had similar problems in the past with my 2003 x5 4.4.I only drive a few miles to work daily, and i was told that the battery does not have a chance to fully charge.I also travel,so it is parked for extended amounts of time. The computer is constantly working, which puts a drain on the battery.Because of my problems, the dealer gave me a free battery charger($75.00)it plugs into your lighter and keeps the battery at full charge. It's a pain in the ass,but i've got to live with it.Nice he?That's what you get with a 60K purchase
