For the forever search for a light weight solution. I found a racing dry-cell battery called DYNA-BATT (# 5575 a/b/c). It weighs in at 13.5#. It only has 16 Amp hrs of reserve capacity, so that means it can not maintain a charge very long, with out the car running.
My question for the day is, has anyone installed or tried this battery in a Z3 or MZ3? I know it is popular in the F-bods and 5-0 crowds and I saw that Bob Tunnell (national M3 autoxer) uses this type of battery. Thoughts comments. Thanks everyone...Nathan #65-SM2 2000 Z3-2.8L Steelgray Roadster
