First Mod Post from a RoadFleeGee

As most RoadFleeGees know, UCrewX5 has a website with a vast amount of info re: modding X5s from various people.

You can even hear SuperGreg's famous imitation of a sports exhaust (Remus vs. Dinan video) and PersonaNonGrata's famous quote, "My cat purrs louder than that...."

The 4.6is exhaust adapted to the X5 3.0/4.4i is a no-brainer!! (Go to www.x5world.net)

So here is the latest mod....(not the rear sunscreen mod....)

All the regular Bimmerfest people, go ahead and take advantage of the knowledge that these RoadFleeGees have to offer.

I'm getting the 4.8 kit installed on mine and also the M steering wheel.

Already numerous mod.....after TommyX's M5 steering wheel mod with wood overlay, to aluminum running boards, Dinan crap, Subwoofer, Alpine NAV, 4.6is kit, larger storage bin, non-smoker ashtray, etc., I'm all modded out for now....Yes even got the first rear side window sunscreen (who do you think told SG )

...M steering wheel mod. You will be the second '04 with this mod, I believe. Are you DIY? Did you get a new airbag from your dealer, or somewhere else?

I'm kind of getting used to the fugly steering wheel, but, 'ya never know...

I tried getting the kit and steering wheel (and airbag) from Crevier but they couldn't ship them to Canada so I'm going with my dealer. I had a minor fender bender that damaged the front bumper a few weeks ago so I decided what the heh, let's go with the 4.8 kit . So the body shop is installing the whole nine yards for me. I'll let you know once I get the X back soon.

Regarding Modwkend, wish I can be there . Have a good time there, Ken and take lotsa pics.
