Alright....I now am officially offering this for sale.

Edmunds private party for stock car with my mileage and options - $29,500
Modifications list cost to me and value (my estimate) YMMV

CAI cost $349 value $230
Rear diif cost $500 value $250
PSS9 cost $1,400 value $900
Pulleys cost $175 value $75
M strut cost $275 value $150
M dead pedal cost $60 value $15
shift knob cost $135 value $70
Rogue SSK $250 value $125
Rogue tranny mounts $45 value $25
Rogue rear shock mounts $90 value $60
BBS RE cost to upgrade $500 value $500 (I got them for a song)
UGDO cost $150 value $100

I probably forgot some stuff (like labor) but that comes to $3,929 in cost to me. Estimated values equal $2,500

Offered based on above for $32,000

With snow tire set up add $500 (also have an extra set of front tires with half life included)

If you want the stereo system to be included the price would be $35,500 (that is less then 50% of what I have in the system/install). $36,000 w/ snows

Phil,
What's your snow tire setup and if you want to sell it seperately, drop me a PM with an asking price.

What are you replacing her with?

Thanks,

Josh

I have 17" Mille Miglia.....the tires should get through another season. If I part out you get dibs and the price will be very fair

I am considering X3, mid-size pickup, Subaru , Jeep........

I don't think that it would actually be that much easier for you to get to work in a foot of snow in one of those vehicles than your car with snows. In the 5 or 6 inches that you're more likely to get, OTOH, they probably will make it a little easier. OTOH, for the very, very few number of times that you're likely to need the extra ground clearance or AWDness, it seems like it would probably cost you less money to buy an old version of one of those things ('cept the X3) than the hit you'll take on the 330i...unless you want to get rid of the car.

And I'd look at a used X5 before I'd look at a new X3.

All good points Clyde but have you seen the money factor on X3 leases Tempting plus my attention span is about 2 years so it would be a good thing

Near invoice price from a dealer with lots of 2004 X3s, plus the killer program, plus a strong 24 month residual makes it a great contender for you!
