Spare Wheel Question

I got the Sports Package with my 2005 X5 but the Spare wheel is the 17' one. Is this a mistake or is it like that?(2005 X5 3.0)

This is normal - the SP wheel is wider and will not allow the trunk floor to fit down. I've had to use my spare twice due to nails in the tires, and there was no noticeable difference in handling with the spare.

Wow, you are really SHOUTING. Fix the font, and yes, 17" is the standard for the spare.

All 3.0 and 4.4 X5's come with the 17 inch spare. The 4.6is and 4.8is have a special "doughnut" spare that isn't a full size spare tire, but it gives the necessary clearance on the rotors/calipers that the 17" full size spare can't accomodate.

As AutoXer requested, please adjust your font. That's just LOUD!!
