F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Can I just buy BMW Apps?

Hi all,

I have a 2014 F20 with HU_CHAMP2 and a combox. (short-VIN: J834271)

I've already coded 6NL to get EBT, now I'd like to get BMW Apps and was wondering: can I just buy "ConnectedDrive Services" here: since it mentions I'll get "apps" and I can purchase it from my BMW account? Or do I need anything more?

Ask your dealer if they can do that for you, but I doubt that

To be honest I'm pretty confused: is BMW Apps a paid subscription only thing or do I also need to code the feature?

It is a paid thing. The account are store in a BMW database and you cannot code it

Ok but if I pay for the "ConnectedDrive Services" will I get them automatically?

Bimmertech offer it as a retrofit. Uses your phone's data connection.

I'm not looking for buying any FSC codes and code the optional myself (even if I could, eventually, if someone sells me the BWM Apps 6NR FSC code).

Just trying to understand if just buying "ConnectedDrive Services" package from BMW website I can unlock that (I'd also need it for other stuff like Remote Services).

That is the old "BMW Live" not "BMW Apps".
