F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Only spent 24 hours with my car so far but it really made it seem like a luxurious car. I'm glad I did it.

What is the best discount off list I can expect on a 230Xi order? Or how much above invoice can I expect to pay?

If you are buying, check out pricing of the BAVsound upgrades. I have no personal experience but they seem to be much more improvement/$ than the BMW options. It's really a question of whether you are comfortable with the DIY and interested...

If you don't mind a slightly smaller engine (and can find one) a '16 might be the way to go - remember the '16 has a much better maintenance program also.

what engine does the m240i have? Is it the I6 turbo that produces how much horsepower? It seems like i can get a used X5M for the price of a new m240i. I know, two different animals. I have three kids, though.

335hp. It's the I6 turbo, tuned slightly differently than the previous generation which were cars with the "Y"35i suffix... Remember that your X5M's maintenance and service costs could be pretty high, those V8s don't age well... at least with a new '17 all you'll have to pay for are brakes

Lots of detail on the engine here - http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=912928

If you have three kids an X5 seems like the way to go.
