X6 F16 (2015 - Current)
The all new 2015 BMW X6 is the second generation luxury cross over. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The F16 BMW X6 is build side by side with the F15 X5 at BMW's BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Read all about the second generation BMW X6 here!

Made the switch.

We made the switch on Saturday. Went from the '14 X5 to the X6. X5 was the 50i and the X6 is the 35i. This is my wife's car and she has already commented about the difference in the engine. While the HP is down, she likes the 6 better. She claims the 6 is smoother and easier to drive. As long as she's happy, that's all that matters. No pictures yet. Too damn cold and windy out. Went from Mineral White on the X5 to Black Sapphire with Cognac/Black Bi-Color Nappa Leather on the X6.

Congrats on the pickup! I hope your wife enjoys it. I have also heard from other owners that the 6 is easier on handling than the 5.

Congrats! I love the black color on the X6. The dark exterior color is the best color the X6/X4. The light colors make the X6/X4 look like a Pontiac Aztec because it really accentuates the butched rear end.

No way!

BTW, congrats, on the new acquisition

the 6 is lighter so probably easier to drive around for our female counterparts

It's true. Light color accentuates the rear end of the X4/X6. See attached. Check out a darker color X6 - it looks menacing.
