Hood Alarm Switch

Can anyone tell me if there is an alarm pressure switch in the hood area. If so where is it located. The alarm keeps going off for no reason and I want to rule out the hood being counted as open by a false switch. Also same goes for trunk is there one there. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

Do you have anything hanging inside of your cabin? When my little one was a baby (a few months ago haha) I had toys hanging from 5150 cord. Within a minute of walking away from the car the alarm would go off. It drove me nuts. Took it to the dealer without the toys and they couldn't replicate the issue, but did say that the alarm had logged motion in the cabin. We have an actual motion detector that can sense a fly in the cabin. Very sensitive. So, if you hang one of those tree air fresheners then you could have the same issue.

The inside motion detector can be turned off buy locking the car with the key pad and pressing the lock on the key pad a second time.

Press the lock button twice and it won't bother you again

I don't have buttons on my keyfob, so that's a non option for me. I lock, unlock, open the trunk, and start all through comfort access. I don't have this problem anymore as my daughter is bigger now.
