I love the wonderful world of glitchy BMW electronics. My navigation screen stayed in "start up" mode, wouldn't allow me to play the radio or show any of my presets, or show and play any of my media files the entire 20 minute trip to work, one morning.

I believe a restart of the car's engine fixed this. But I can't remember if I had to restart the car more than once.

In any event, you're still covered by warranty.

The days that a restart fixed most Nav errors were over about 10 years ago. Take your car to the dealership and let them deal with it.
