Lease Takeover

I'm looking at buying an X5M and want to get out of this M3 a year early. Car has DCT transmission, executive package and the rest of the standard fare as listed on the window sticker. It has just over 12,000 miles (less than 12,100) and has always been garaged and not driven in the winter. The attached photos were from the detailer that applied C Quartz finest finish to the car - they take much better photos than me. Car is in excellent condition, really as new. I'm just looking to have someone take over the lease. The lease ends in March 23, 2018 and is good for a total of 34,355 miles. The payment is $827.16 with a residual of $44,265. The current buyout amount is $56,793.06. Thanks for looking.

It's an awesome car and I love it! I also can't bear to drive it in the winter. Plus I am assigned a take home car for my work. Because I tend to want to swap cars fairly frequently, it means that none of my cars get very many miles on them (3 personal cars and 1 work car for 2 people) and it just seems somewhat wasteful to me. I need a heavy duty pickup for some of my hobbies and to move around my tractor, so I can't get rid of my pickup and my wife wants to drive an SUV. That means that if I want to go back to 2 cars it means the M3 has to go. But it also means that I plan on having one heck of an SUV. Particularly it means I want something my wife will be comfortable driving, and it means I want something crazy fast. Right now that likely means either an X5M or a Mercedes GLE AMG 63. That's literally the only reason I want to give up the M3. I tried to get my wife to drive my pickup and she doesn't want to park it at work (crew cab, short box diesel pickup), and she likes sitting up higher so the M3 is kind of a no go for her too. So my loss will be someone else's gain. Maybe in a few years when my pickup is paid off, I'll revisit a new M car but for now this is probably the best compromise.

Makes total sense, too bad I didn't discover you earlier, my ZCP is on the boat. X5M should be incredible, almost went the other way on my order with an X6 and @ the very least retain some sportiness, the SUV in the NE is really the prudent thing to do. Good luck with the lease swap & take care.
