Nice Work but has it saved you AXX ?

How many times has it saved you butt?

I almost bought the Escort system when I got my 9500IX but went for the Blinder M47 Extreme instead. It only ever went off once when installed on my M35. Now that I have a new M5, I am thinking about installing it but will let a professional do this job.

The escort radar is excellent, but the escort jammer is worthless.

I tested my system with a couple of friends who between them own 5 lidar guns. After realizing that the escort won't cut it, I replaced the jammer portion of the 9500ci with Laser Interceptor Quads.

I tested again, and now it was rock solid on front (no reads at all at any distance) but I was getting punch through on the back. I then did some adjusting and aligning to get them level and straight, and now they work perfectly on both sides.

The Laser Interceptor shares the escort speaker and bi-colour led, and has its own voice module, so the alerts can be heard as announcements, e.g. "Ka band detected", or "Front Jamming sequence initiated, Kustom Prolaser 3, please slow down"

The Laser Interceptor is impenetrable - truly the best - just like your M5s!

Radar antenna (center of lower air dam) and front laser jammers (corners of lower air dam)
.

Two rear laser jammers mounted at the top corners of the license plate frame.

Display in mirror to indicate warnings, signal strength and programming menus

Green LED above the speedometer (it is dead centered but camera angle makes it look off). This indicates the system is on. It flashes red when laser or radar is detected. Provides line of sight warning so you don't need to look in mirror. Great when combined with audio warnings and announcements.

Coin compartment contains the controller (left controller for Passport system, right controller for Laser Interceptor system)

Coin compartment folds away as normal

There is also a retractable USB cable in the footwell which I can use to update the system with new speedtraps every Monday.
