I have Magnaflows on my 2014 750i which produces a low pitch rumble with a pinch of drone around 1500-2000 rpm. A member on here did a video with all 3 of his resonators removed with stock exhaust. It had that slight exotic sound, about 25% as cool as a M6 gran coupe. It was pretty quiet. I'm trying to do everything I can to make the car sound more exotic. I had the big resonator toward the rear of the car removed today. There are two in front of it that I left on for now. The exhaust basically lost its drone surprisingly. Under throttle it sounds pretty good. Maybe what you'd think a stock M5 might sound like? Maybe not that good it's hard to tell. I'm going to have the front two removed tomorrow and we'll see what difference that makes.
I don't know, guys, but these turbo engines sounds blah with aftermarket exhaust compared to NA ones. At idle, it literally sounds sick, not well. At revs, it sounds angry but not smooth or killer instinct. Maybe I'm getting too old.
There is a sound clip with removed mufflers on the last one that is my personal fav sound wise, but owner said had bad drone.
