Does anyone have the manual handy. Mine is locked in the trunk and I cannot open to look this up. There has to be a manual release for the Automatic shift so that I can jump the car?

You can open the trunk with the key. It slides out of the remote fob. The trunk lock cylinder is hidden underneath the lip above the license plate. You should definitely know this for these kinds of situations! You're not trying to steal someone else's E90, are you?
1) unclip the sleve of the selector lever
2) pull the sleeve up over the selector lever until sleve is inside out
3) using screwdriver press the red lever (above and right of selector) while moving the selector lever

thanks guys! I ended up calling roadside assistance. Not sure what is up with my battery, nothing was left on last night. Car will be one year old next week.
By the way, your manual tells you not to jump your battery, but to call roadside assistance.
