4NGIEfest '11

Saturday, April 2nd, 2011

4ngiefest '11 will be open to ALL GERMAN vehicles. But as always, everyone is welcome.

What is 4ngiefest you speak of?

4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles. In 2008, in association with ClubBimmer.com we drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books.

Being the 5th annual 4ngiefest, we are striving to make it appealing to everyone attending. Every year we collect donations and send money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through merchandise sales and private donations, 4ngiefest was able to donate nearly $2,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last year and we plan to exceed that again this year.

Why the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society?
I have dedicated my time to promoting and organizing every event in memory of a loved one that I lost to Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in 2004.

WHY is it called 4NGIEfest?

We hear this question more than anything else.. Angie, (known as 4ngie on several BMW/ import online communities) started this event for BMW enthusiasts like herself. 4ngiefest was named after Angie by a fellow fanatic because we hope to one day be the East Coast version of Bimmerfest.. although we have a long way to go. Also because saying the 5th Annual Atlanta BMW meet in Atlanta, GA is just too much to say.

It is important for people who don't know 4ngie to understand the humor behind the name. 4ngie does not host this event for attention or recognition. In fact, many people have attended every year and still don't know her. We do this for the love of German Cars and to raise money in memory of a loved one.

As the infamous Kpeng once said: "4ngies are hard to find at 4ngiefest. Kpengs are everywherez."

What's New?

We are in the process of designing new shirts which will be available shortly. We're also working on some other merchandise such as glasses and decals.

Here's a map of Stone Mountain Park. The lot we're using is the Yellow Daisy lot, across from the police station, in the bottom right corner of the map.
