Figured I'd ask here as members seem to know almost every gadget ever created. I'm looking for a device to plug into OBD-II port to track mileage for business. I don't want a GPS locator app or unit. Just a button to press or activate to log my work miles rather than use my little log book. Any creative inventions / products out there? Figure port could power and must receive odometer information.

Funny, my dad owns a property management company and has been telling me to make something like that for over a year now to simplify mileage reimbursement records.

Guess I need to get on that. :rofl

No, just like a generic code reader but smaller. Tracks mileage only.

There an app I use on my droid called "torque". Its 5.99 for full version. You need a OBD2 bluetooth adaptor which you can get off e-bay for about $30 or so. I ordered my OBD2 bluthooth from Jegs.com for about $70. You can read/clear codes, read everything the ECU reads in real time. It will read MPG and distance traveled. You can also data log everything.
