Naw, I think they have the same performance, but the LoveTheDrive version is less expensive. Also, there's the windblox model that's a different sort, not as sophisticated, but you can use the back seat, and it costs way less too.
I just bought a wind deflector from BMW of morristown for 330.00. It delivered in two days after ordering. It's oem and its 70.00 cheaper then love to drive. On another note it works great. Drove home last night with the top down in 45 degree temp and you would have thought it was 60 degrees out. Great purchase!
I picked up one from lovethedrive for $394 (free shipping). Works fine.
The sad thing is BMW....absolutely pathetic that they do not provide a wind deflector with the car. Audi did when I owned TTRs (3 of them) and my SLK had one....shame on you BMW, shame on you. What a cheap, rude thing to do by BMW (IMHO). :thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:
Just traded in my wifes 2011 convertible last week. I have the BMW wind deflector which I paid $600 for two seasons ago. Its like new in the original case and I'mm selling it for $300 if you're interested. Itreally makes a huge difference!
I'll sell you mine for $250. BMW factory made. 2 seasons old and I could probably meet you halfway safing you the freight. Hit me up. stevelind@mac.com
Just got my new baby. CPO 2011 128i. If you are looking at this post before purchase I recommend you convince the dealer to sell you one at cost. I just paid $250 at the dealership.
it's the best investment to increase your top-down months. and helps the woman's hair, which allows me more nights of top-down driving.
