2F7B oil pressure sensor switch

Hi All,

I'm seeing this error, 2F7B , does anyone know where these are located on the n63?

Also are there any symptoms of the oil pressure sensor switch failing?

Thanks
Mina

I read your error code as 'Improbable Value'. The oil pressure switch biases a 'transistor' in the ECU and should be either 12 VDC high above ground OPEN or pulled down to 0 VDC ground potential CLOSED on low pressure. Likely the ground is defective with high resistance to ground giving an intermediate output.

The pressure switch is a pretty simple vital protection for the engine.

Glad to be of help. Tell us what you find please. Resistance across the contacts, or case to contact, removed from the engine should be ~0 Ohms
