Earliest Delivery Time at Welt?

What is the earliest ED delivery time at the Welt? I have read 7:30 AM was Welt opening, but I do not know when the delivery section actually starts scheduling delivery.

I am anxious to get on the road as early as possible in the morning.

I have not yet requested a delivery date and time, but wanted to know the earliest time that I could shoot for (in October 2017).

I just got my delivery time confirmed for 8:30am checkin, 10:00am delivery. The Welt opens at 9am to the public and 8am for people doing ED, so I imagine 9:30am is the earliest delivery time (8am check in).

I had a 8:15 check-in with delivery at 9:40. You should expect 30 to 45 minutes of "training" on your car so don't expect to leave the Welt directly after your delivery.

If this is your first new BMW in several years the "training" is well worth the 30 to 45 minutes. On the other hand if you are familiar with all the features of your new car you can tell the "trainer" that you would like it to be as brief as possible and you should be able to get on the road within a few minutes.

But the Welt itself is worth an hour or two. Lots of new cars on display and excellent free food in the Premium Lounge. Plus there is the factory tour an museum. So, if possible, change your plan to allow half a day at the Welt on your Delivery Day.

When you request a delivery date (three choices), you can't specify the time. You can have your CA add a note that you would like the earliest possible delivery time. Regardless of what time you are scheduled for, you can always show up at 7:30 AM, and when you check in to the Premium Lounge, indicate that you would like to have your delivery as early as possible. There is some lead time as your car has to be brought up to the delivery floor via elevator from the Welt underground storage area.

Are you planning on the Factory Tour and visiting the BMW Museum? These are included in your Euro Delivery and both are well worth it.

From the BMW Welt Visitor Information page:
BMW Welt

Building opening hours:
Monday - Saturday: 7.30 am - 12 midnight
Sunday: 9.00 am - 12 midnight
When we did our group Euro Delivery in May 2016, our group's check-in time was 8:00 AM. Our cars were already on the delivery floor when we arrived at 7:30 AM and there were plenty of other people there who were not taking Euro Delivery. Most of us did our paperwork the previous afternoon and then toured the BMW Museum. Our delivery time was 9:00 AM. We didn't see any other deliveries take place before ours, but they were staging other cars in a different area of the delivery floor on some of the remaining turntables (we occupied 14 turntables, for 10 M2s, 2 M3s, 2 M4s).

Roughly 1.3 hr wait from check-in (paperwork+chilling in the lounge) to delivery. But the lounge is worth the wait.
