Lease end charges

Woke up this am to find this on my dear. Was parked outside my own house facing inside, can't figure out how, where and what did this... don't even remember seeing this the day before after coming back from work (where I also parked facing inside)...
Very sad...

How much am I looking at from the suckers when turning it in abt 6 months?

Thanks!

Ouch!
Without thinking about it too much, I would buy a new panel from eBay and have a body shop paint and install it. My guess is BMW will charge big $$$ to fix it.

Edit:
After thinking a little more, contact your insurance company. May not cost you anything

I can't really tell how long the scratch is, but if it's less-than two inches, it won't cost anything. Between two and four inches it is a small item, and greater-than four a large. My recollection is that a small item was $100, and a large $400 on the bumper of my e89. I would think that you could have a place locally repair that for $100-150. I would not take that to insurance as it is almost certainly would not save you any money.

I agree, body shop, pay cash, get it fixed.

If they fix it on trade in, you have no options on cost.
