2015 X5 with new bike carrier

I bought a bike carrier that bolts into the tow eyes in the rear. Only problem is American sold X5 only has one tow eye. Does anyone know if the other eye is there and just needs to be uncovered?

Welcome to Bimmerfest! I've moved your question to our F15 X5 forum, you'll get more help in here. Check RealOEM.com to see if you can tell from the parts catalog. You could also call a parts counter and see if they have one in stock and could check for you.

I think you have the bike carrier for the E70 X5. Is that what model vehicle you have?

Mine MY '12 has two covers on the rear bumper apparently for tow eyes.

new F15 has two covers-- but one is a blank.

OP try and find someone with a pre 2014 X5- and they can use this BMW rack.

As many of you know - As I had another bike rack for sale-with my recent X5 sale. I just bought a tacoma trd for the purpose of carrying my bike.. I spend so much time and effort trying to outfit a rack every 3 years- I gave up and got a small pickup. 100% works!

I have used a Draftmaster for ten years. It is sturdy enough that it survived while on my VW when it was tornado-totaled.
