Took her in for a Fuel Line replacement. The dealer updated my software and knocked out all my coding. I literally just had my car re-coded this am! Now all is well. Some coding features are difficult living without:

Disabling Warning in iDrive and Door Chimes, all entertainment info displays in HUD, A/C doesn't come on when starting the engine, open all windows and close all from fob, etc.

Those things become VERY useful. Oh and the European female accent in NAV.

Oh damn. Yeah you just code it yourself right? I usually just use INPA/NCSexpert to do mine.

I could. But it's easier to let my guy who has coded for me @ 5 times and many referrals from me. All remotely done. Sends me the update files to download, we connect via TeamViewer and bam!

I made a couple hundred when I had my cable. The hardest part about it all was getting my laptop set up for it.

Yeah. But that'll be easy for me since that's all I do all day anyways

Well.. and the fact it's already setup helps to.

That's one wild ride. I went and looked at the other vehicles he built. The dragster is pretty wild too.

He has a dual blower pickup truck too.

That's just not right...

...because it's not in my driveway.

Side note: My step-father recently acquired a 1965 Corvette Stingray. Red with black accents, 4-speed manual, 396 cubic inch V8... The papers say it's rated for 425 HP, but all dynos I've seen have shown it crank out just under 300 WHP due to insane exhaust restrictions. I'm going to see if my step-father will be willing to go 50/50 on a set of equal-length long-tube headers (and get them coated by Jet-Hot, of course) and replace the restrictive piping in the side exhaust with a larger size. Supposedly, those two mods alone will result in gains upwards of 30 to 40 WHP.

That sounds insane gains for just exhaust. But then again I know the restriction in our cats on our cars... so yeah lol. I definitely think it's possible.

The stock side-exit exhaust pipes have something like 1-1/4" ID due to the baffling. Imagine how much that's choking down that motor. It's ridiculous.

EDIT: I learned they are actually 1-7/8" ID, while the other pipe is 2-1/2".

The twin turbo R8 in that vid is my friends car. He sold it.
Now has a supercharged Lambo Huracan. I'll get some vids of it next week when I see him.
