What trim to get with Oyster Leather

Hi another opinion desired on my 2018 340i
I am getting Mineral Grey M sport with 19in 704 wheels with Black kidney grill and carbon fiber spoiler

I like the Oyster Dakota leather but really do not like any of the trims.

I was considering the Aluminum dark carbon but all the real word pics show it is not dark in color and similar to the Aluminum hexagonal trim.

I am leaning toward either Burl walnut or hexagonal aluminum with black accent.

Anyone have an opinion, it would be appreciated.

TIA

I personally think the dark ash color goes best with the light leather color.

If I was getting an oyster interior, my choice of trim would be aluminum hex with matte blue highlight.

I have the Aluminum hex with blue now on my Estoril blue exterior. Very nice trim esp. with black leather with blue stitch

The Aluminum dark carbon unfortunately is not dark enough in real life pics. Idk what BMW did with that color??

I appreciate the opinions and so far a lot varied thoughts. That been my problem

OK, so you're looking for some variety while staying within BMW...that can be a problem.

The wood trims, IMO, are a bit tilted towards luxury.

From pictures online, I prefer Aluminum Hex with Blue highlight over the Aluminum Carbon.

Ash

I would tend toward Ash Grain Wood Trim with Metal Inlay and Pearl Gloss Chrome Highlight.

However, get whatever floats your boat.

I agree that's an excellent appearing wood trim. I just do not like that metal inlay

I am leaning toward the Anthracite wood now. lol

I have a production allocation in the building orders going in and will have a short opportunity to make a final decision

[QUOTE=nealh;10205851]Hi another opinion desired on my 2018 340i

I like the Oyster Dakota leather but really do not like any of the trims.

I was considering the Aluminum dark carbon but all the real word pics show it is not dark in color and similar to the Aluminum hexagonal trim.

I am leaning toward either Burl walnut or hexagonal aluminum with black accent.

Anyone have an opinion, it would be appreciate it.

Neal,

The Burl Walnut would be an excellent choice. It will look real good against the Oyster Dakota leather trim. That's the color I'm getting in my new 440 vert. along with Snapper Rocks Blue for the exterior and Venetian Beige with dark brown highlights on the interior. Good luck with yours and enjoy it. I'm taking the PCD in SC around the end of September and I'm looking forward to it with a friend. You might consider it too! If you want to go that way, call your SA at the store and tell him.

Joe
