Welcome to the forum!

For future reference you posted in the wrong section of the forums, you're in the E70 X5M section whereas you should've posted in the F15 X5 section.

As for wheels and tires, I opted for some cheap winter rims which are 18's. Went with the Michelin Xi-X Ice tires which are fantastic in the winter for me. One general rule of thumb with winter tires are the smaller the rim and the bigger the sidewall the better. Also avoid staggered winters, not very safe. My recommended specs would be 255/55/R18's. You could also go to the dealership and order a premade setup for your X5 but bmw dealerships tend to be extremely expensive for winter tires.

Cheers,
G
