2018 430xi Lease Question

Hi, I really can use some help here. I am about to accept a lease offer and I am not sure if I am getting a really bad deal.

2018 430 xdrive

M Sport Pkg
Essential Pkg
Premium Pkg
Heated Steering Wheel
H-K Sound

MRSP $54,345

I am returning a 4-series lease and BMW has given me the following incentive: $4,500 off
MRSP

MRSP 54,345
- 4,500
-----------
$49,845

I am paying $5,000 at delivery which gives a Cap Reduction of $4, 070
and doing a 3 year lease at 12k miles year

They want $632/month

Am I being taken advantage of?

Thank you for helping me.

Jon

Do you know the Capitalized Cost (the amount financed)? The residual percentage and amount? The Money Factor (interest rate)? You need to know these things. Read through this post - http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=830104

Here's how to calculate a lease by hand:

(Capitalized Cost - Residual amount)/lease term = monthly depreciation

(Capitalized Cost + Residual amount) x money factor = monthly rent (interest charge)

Depreciation + rent = base monthly payment

monthly payment + monthly taxes = gross monthly payment

By all means, do what tturedraider says and work through the numbers. At first glance, it sounds like you're being abused here. I just leased a new 430i with a $53K list price. No money down, $1900 drive off and $515/month for 3 years at 10K a year.

Remember the 1% guideline - if you can get it down to a monthly payment of 1% of MSRP you're getting a good deal.

Run, don't walk from this deal!

Are there other options you didn't list? I just built this car on BMWUSA.com and got an MSRP of $50,915
