2008 335i 4dr headlight issue

Very new to BMW world and overwhelmed quickly. I have searched and confused myself. Do i need full replacement or just a bulb. I see ring is off compared to passenger side. Also these are articulating lights. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean the angel eye rings? You just need to replace the bulb. You can access it through the engine bay.

There are a couple DIY threads you can find.

If it's just the angel eye bulb (H8 bulb), you can replace it through the engine bay. No need to go through the wheel well.

See this vid:

I didn't realize the pre-LCI E90s didn't have access through the engine bay. Maybe some of the E90 guys can comment on this.

I suppose you'll have to work through the wheel well after all.

E90 has to do it through the wheel well or completely remove the light bracket if you want the most access. E92 and LCI E90 I believe can go through the engine bay
