As all know issues with BMW's are guaranteed, despite new car price increases and 5.1 % sales growth.
I'm still trying to resolve a battery drain issue, a water in the trunk issue, and the reverse shift clunk issue, I'm getting closer to find the problem with the battery drain which might be a aftermarket radio connection to an iPod hook up cable, when the fuse is pulled for the radio it's seems to show less amp draw, I'm still investigating.
I ordered the rear axle bushing recommended to me and waiting for it to arrive from slowsky shipping. After I get it installed I will let y'all know if it eliminated the clinch. Happy Father's Day to all you Mothers out there.

On battery drain, did you ever have the dealer recode the AC so that it wouldn't drain the battery after you shut off the car? That was a known problem for some earlier E46s that hit me - basically if you turned off car with AC running, sometimes a fan would keep running and running, and the battery would be dead by morning. Happened to me once, and got it fixed.
