Help with bluetooth audio connect?

Listening to Spotify using BT on my X5.
All of sudden its not working anymore.

iPhone 7 with everything updated.
Spotify app seems to be updated as well.

I've un/reinstalled the spotify app and nothing happened.
I've deleted/forgotten the device (BMW)
I've deleted my iPhone from idrive.

I've repaired my phone to car and still nothing.

Any ideas?

Bluetooth works for phone calls.
I can see on the screen when I have a text message.
But when I try to connect to spotify, nothing happens.

Help.

Do you have Bluetooth Audio turned on for your phone on the X5? The phone and audio are separate functions. My guess is you do and I'm no help!

Try dismissing the spotify distracted driving warning from your phone after the app loads

It seems like I've tried everything.

Maybe I need a new iPhone or new X5.

Have you tried any of the other music services, like IHeartRadio or such? Do they work while Spotify won't?

Is the audio option selected for your iPhone when you paired it again? Go into media on iDrive and select your phone to stream music and look to see whether or not your phone comes up. It could be set to something else like an aux?

Select your Bluetooth and obviously it won't work now press the select button on the rt side on steering wheel, now it will go to FM or audio cd which ever you had selected before now press again and it will connect to Bluetooth audio, try this trick hope works
