I have 16,000 on my bridgestone potenza 2009 z4. Was just told i need to 2 rear tires because the inside is worn out. I was told by a bridgestone dealer that the problem was an alignment issue and that BMW sshould of caught the problem when servicing the car. Any advice on how long these tires should last and if BMW will reimburse me anything for the new tires.
Hi, Firstly the bad news BMW will accept no liability at all for your tyres wearing down on the inside edge, the good news at least you know you have an issue and can get it fixed before you put the new rears on as they will wear in the same manner!!!
I got about 19,000 miles out of my original tires and you've got 85% of that with an alignment problem. That doesn't seem too bad.
