Beautiful Topless Weather 70+ Degrees and Sunny here in the Florida Panhandle. Hope you folks up north aren't having too many weather problems <snicker snicker> :bigpimp:
Las Vegas has been having a relatively mild winter, with only a couple of days with low (30 deg) temps. Very little rain, with corresponding low snow cover at the higher altitudes.
WisM, yup on the Palmetto Bugs. Not so much anymore tho, civilization & exterminators have pretty much moved them from this area. Still enough to freak out the Yankee Snowbirds. LMAO
Bill that is a great area. My nephew got married in Panama City Beach last summer and we spent a few days there.
From my many years in Texas I was just wondering if "Texas speed bumps" aka Armadillos are a problem around your area? Hitting one of those in a Z would not be good. :yikes:
Actually few armadillos. Biggest hazard here (other than drunks) are bears and deer. Eglin AFB, over 700 square miles, borders us and bears frequently cross the highways and invade the houses bordering the reservation.
The biggest danger are people running off the road into the sand, over correcting and rolling. US 98, between Pensacola and Panama City claim at least a dozen fatalities every year (+ no seat belts and ejection)
