changed intake manifold and valve cover gaskets now runs rough
I took my time and replaced intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets. Well I got everything put back together and the car runs really rough. I let it run for 10 minutes and there is a puddle of oil under the car from the passenger valve cover It must of not seated properly. I don't know where to start with it running rough. Everything is hooked up right. When I first start it it seems to run good then all of the sudden it idles at 200-300 rpm. What do you guys think

Start with taking it back apart on the passager side check both seals... most likely u need to change the inner seals if you didnt do them... if you didnt change inner seals when you changed valve cover gaskets then it was no point n changin them. the inner seals are the main point of changin them.. Take them back off take some sand paper and clean the gasket seat. make sure nothings n that crack.... then after then take some red gaskets seal and run it inside the crack. u dont need alot just a small line thru the whole thing... then put the gasket back in let it set for a couple of sec. then install valve cover.. start with the one outer top screw first. dont tightin it all the way down yet tho. Go in a X pattern ok. and after all screws in. slowly put everything back together.

I can get the valve covers fixed but I don't know why its running rough. IM pretty sure intake is on right. vaccum lines on. Only thing I noticed I didn't hooks up was intake silencer but I don't think that would make it run really rough

Did you check spark plugs and it could be o2 sensor.. or fuel filter...

You have to take it apart again. Something is not right. Make sure you have a Bentley manual for it.

shop told the code came up with something to do with cylinder 7. I guess there wasn't a good connection to the spark plug. I don't see how a couple injector clips could cause a problem.

Could be the coil or fuel injector wiring harness not seated properly on fuel injector resulting in a huge misfire because its not firing (no spark to that cylinder).
