EDIT: ONLY LOOKING TO TRADE JUST RIMS UNLESS THE TIRES ARE THE SAME DIMENSIONS AS MY F07.
I've got some black powdercoated BMW Style 316 Rims (8.5" front and 10" rear) with Bridgestone Potenza Summer Sport Tires w/ 80-85% tread. (245/40/R20 front and 275/30/R20 rear).
Looking to trade for aftermarket wheel and tires... I prefer forged/multiforged over cast wheels (mainly MORR or HRE, maybe Vossen)
PM me with shots of your rims if interested. Looking for only 20's with staggered setup (similar tires). Will only trade just for rims if the aftermarket rims will fit a set of tires with above dimensions.
Located around NJ/NYC area. Mainly interested in local, but also open to shipping.
Below is a pic of the wheel.
P.S. If you want it in another color let me know I have a couple of friend who Plastidip rims for inexpensive cost.
Also, maybe willing to sell them for around $3000 (or B/O), not sure though.
Might have better luck posting on the GT forum. Not sure these will fit on an F10. Even if they do, F10 owners tend to have a different sense of aesthetics than GT owners.
(Pimped wheels and painted calipers on a GT? Isn't that sort of like staggered wheels on a FWD Honda? Ground effects on a Prius? :dunno
Well the GT and F10 share the exact same wheel dimensions... So it will fit. This is a performance wheel option from BMW.
And regarding the "pimped out look", it may be a GT, which in fact looks much better in person, but doesn't mean I can't give a clean blacked out look and DINAN Stage 2 to it. at least the people at the meet loved it, and it gets enough compliments and thumbs up on the road.
Below are the measurements for going from the F10 20" replacements (Style 356) the F07 replacements (Style 316)
Front:
8mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 8mm
Diameter will increase by 0.965" or 3.48%.
Rear:
10mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 16mm
Diameter will increase by 1.083" or 3.93%.
The 5 and 6 Series have the same exact measurements, while the 5GT and the 7 Series have the exact same measurements. That is not a claim as to whether one can or can't put 7 Series wheels on the 5er. As long as the bolt pattern matches, you have caliper clearance, and the offset doesn't cause rubbing, there is some leeway as to what will fit.
Are you feeling bi-polar today? Or trying to get a job with the Government?
It's either a 3.48% / 3.93% difference or a 0.5% difference; it can't be both.
And no, I am not going to do the calculations myself. I have people for that. But give them the weekend off.
EDIT: Or are you saying that the delta between the new, bigger front diameter and the new, bigger rear diameter is only 0.5%? I am so confused.... If so, would this setup work okay?

Your edit has it right. The F07 tires are 3.48% / 3.93% larger than the 20" F10 tires, but the difference in the front vs rear diameter of the F07 tires is only 0.5%. I could give you the actual sizes, but I'd hate to have your people not have anything to do on Monday morning.
With respect to the 0.5% diameter difference, they should be okay for an xDrive. I also know that based on other member's experience that larger tires fit on the F10. My only concern would be lowering the car and pushing the tires outward. The OP says it works, so I'm not going to argue, but as you all know if something is technically incorrect (e. g."exact match") then I have to invoke the "somebody said something wrong on the internet clause" and jump in.
@Dinan_GT, how do you like the brake caliper covers? Have you had any problems with them?
