lol, I sure hope he doesn't start editing the E46 wiki saying "All this information is rubbish, you should not work on your cars because every part is a lifetime part, just like your transmission fluid".

Please, I beg you, take him. E46 fanatics does not want him.

Ahh Miles don't say that. I like goingnuts, his posts always bring a grin to my face, always. Goingnuts, I think you will find that even though the crowd here is "mature" they are very tight strung and from who I know you are, it won't really work out... give it a try though

And yes the audience here is more mature (sometimes ) and definitely friendlier compared to fanatics.

Welcome!
Oh dear, that was an interesting thread.

His car is, ah, um, a unique expression of his personality.

Hope not.

I get a kick from reading the young'uns threads - there's nothing like a good coffee spew to make your day go right. I'm a founding member of the (Pontiac) solsticeforum and the founder of the Mid Atlantic Solstice Sky Club - the posts over there are priceless.

As an 18-year-old, even though I have some childish habits, I will admit to possessing a good sense of humor, a remarkable tolerance for diverging viewpoints, and an admiration for intelligent discourse. Although, while never meaning any harm or offense, I do like to play devil's advocate more often than not, and every once in a while, take great delight in tossing a rock or two in a still pond, just to make waves.

Of course, I've had 40 years experience at being 18 years old...

I don't understand why it won't work out. I just don't want to play with children any more. The slightest heavyhandedness on my part and off they run, crying to the mods. If there are genuine adults here, perhaps they can handle a few more of my jabs before breaking into tears. But no matter, there are plenty more fish in the sea. Likewise for forums.

I am really here for that 20MB attachment allowance. That should be enough for the images of a couple of DIY's at least.

I'm older and still a little immature (sorry!) but I think its what makes me *fun*.

I read that other forum for a few minutes and thought *um, no." and just decided to stick with this place.

Minus the occasional criticism for what some feel are silly ideas. (Still like the crome, red tint, load subs, and keeping it in park by the corner with the squad.

ok ok... Only half that is true..

I'm certainty not old.. Only 17 here, but I'd say I'm more mature than a good chunk of 20 year olds... Definitely.

If you're my filthy-rich Uncle from Denville, whom I've never met but family lore insists on his existence, why, yes, Solli, we truly are. Now, about that will...

I'll never grow up, never grow up, not me.

I may be getting old and gray (just like my e46), but my 330Ci has seen more track time that 95% of the e46 M3's out there.

I am quite sure age does matter. On some forums for children, people would cry for mom on every little thing. I remember people calling for my head for refusing to change my oil at so and so miles simply because someone on internet said so, and apparently it was illegal to not have a crumbling oil filter.
